Metabolic Typing Test

To determine the individuals Metabolic Type testing must be performed. This testing is somewhat different to conventional testing performed by nutritionists or traditional medical practitioners.

Taking the time to complete the questionnaire will tell the individual whether they are a meat-eater, a vegetarian, or have a balanced metabolism.

Once the individual metabolic type has been determined further refinement can then be made to optimize the results.

Guidelines for Metabolic Typing Testing

  1. Complete initial evaluation
  2. Re-evaluate every 6 months and make adjustments to the program
  3. Once optimal level is achieved, maintain this optimal level
  4. If program is interrupted then a re-evaluation should be performed and program restarted

Metabolic Typing Q1

The self test is divided into two parts, Functional Metabolism (Part A) and Developmental Metabolism (Part B)

Part A.  Functional Metabolism

This part of the test determines the most likely class of metabolism the body is functioning in at the present time; that is, one of the broad types of metabolism from 1 through 12. This part of the test also determines the most probable subtype, 1 through 12. This refinement is often helpful in obtaining that delicate balance of body chemistry so important in maintaining optimum health.

Part B.  Developmental Metabolism

This part of the test determines the probable type of functional metabolism during one’s growth and development, that period of life from infancy to about 18 years of age. It is felt that this is the basic functional type of metabolism. This is most likely the “inherited type” of metabolism, the type where a person functions and feels the best. This is often called the “design” type. This is the optimum level or type where an individual functions mentally and physically.

Often a person’s present functional metabolism type is different that the developmental type. When these two factors are known, it is rather simple to discern which organ systems are over-stressed or totally exhausted.

Instructions to complete both Part A and B

The reliability and accuracy of this test depends upon the complete honesty and serious objective answering of the questions. In each group, questions are repeated several times. This is necessary to determine the degree or severity of the condition under question.

The test should be taken at one’s leisure – not pushing to complete it rapidly. It is best to work on it for about 30 minutes at one sitting (time). Taking a break and returning at a later — time provides the most accuracy.

The questions in this test are arranged in several groups. The group headings are printed in darker letters.

Procedure:

  1. Each group has a heading (in bolded letters) follow by a list of options (Column A).  Read all the options in each group before attempting to answer.
  2. Determine if one of the listed options describes your condition.  If no selection in a group applies to you at all, skip the whole group and proceed to the next group.
  3. If you have an option (Column A) that describes your condition, proceed to fill out Column B:
    1. If it is only a fair description of your condition, place a 1 in Column B.
    2. If it is a good description of your condition, place a 2 in Column B.
    3. If it is an excellent description of your condition, place a 3 in Column B.
    4. If there is already a number in the box in Column B then proceed to step #4.
  4. Record the number you put down or already given to you in Column B in each blank space found in Column C.
  5. Go to the next group and repeat the same procedure.

At the end of the each Part A and B, you will have a total for each cell in Column C.  The totals in each box may add up as high as 200 or more.  These numbers will give me your type of metabolism.
